Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of riding a (well maintained) bike

Prices below are advisory and are labour costs only. New parts costs are not included. Once i’ve assessed your bike i can give you a more accurate quote. Any potential extra costs identified during the work will be advised before commencing, I.e. if a new chain, or new cables are needed this will be advised before changing. Some of these services are available as a mobile service, and i can also collect your bike and deliver it back once the work is done.
Bike Assessment (No Charge)
I’ll carry out a comprehensive bike check – with a breakdown and estimated cost of any work needed. All estimates are “no obligation” and i would only proceed once this has been agreed with you.
Tune-Up (from £30) - Mobile Service available
This is a full safety M check and tune-up, including check of the tyres and tubes,adjustment of brakes and gears. This one is designed to keep your bike running nice and smoothly, or get it back on the road. Perfect if it's been in the shed all winter.
Interim service (from £55)
This is a good one if your bike is used reguarly and is starting to get a bit 'clunky'. Maybe the gear change isn't as slick as it was or its starting to suffer from worn bearings and needs a good once-over to get it back on song. I’ll cover everything in the Tune-up, plus a replacement of all consumable parts: If needed I can replace your brake/gear cables, brake pads, cassette and chain. This service is recommended at least every 6-12 months depending on how much you use you bike.
Full service (from £80)
When you use your bike a lot, stuff wears out. it just does. And when one thing wears out it usually starts wearing something else out as well, and that could cost £££. A stitch in time and all that… This service includes everything in the Interim service, plus a hub, headset and bottom bracket service, so your bike should be back in tip top condition and being a pleasure to ride.
Family bike service (from £100) - Mobile Service available
With spring and summer coming it's time to get the familys bikes back on the road. This service will cover a tune up of up to 4 bikes, (2 adult bikes and 2 kids bikes) to make sure that they are safe to ride .
Sometimes you’ll just have a niggly issue with the bike. The brakes are getting a bit ‘spongy’, the gears are starting to click or not change as smoothly as they were, something like that. It happens as parts begin to wear. I can do those ‘put-off’ jobs as well.

Wheels

Bike cleaning - From £10 (depending on the condition)
A clean bike will always work better, and last longer than a dirty bike! The best time to clean a bike is when it’s stripped down during a service. I offer a full cleaning service to get your bike not only looking beautiful but working better.
